 green area, arroyo (creek)

A deep, densely forested ravine located south of the Zaporizhian Sich Historical and Cultural Complex.
This ravine is named in honor to Cossack Sovuta.
The riverbed of this ravine has become a favorite recreation area for many visitors to Khortytsia.
The ravine is located in the northeastern part of the island with many attractions: the museum and the Sich to the north and ancient sanctuaries to the south.

Numerous trails lead deep into the riverbed, some of them along slopes covered with steppe grasses. Below, there is a cool deciduous forest and a cozy access to the river, where everyone can sit on the rocks and admire the surroundings, as well as see the remains of the legendary Dnipro (Dnieper) Rapids and the majestic Dnipro (Dnieper) Hydroelectric Power Station.
