This was actually referred to as the "Long Wharf." Had four main berths for tank vessels...1 and 4 (southernmost and northermost) were for crude carriers, and 2 and 3 (middle) were for clean oils. Many a merchant mariners spent their limited time ashore on the few phones on the wharf calling loved ones.
