Located in the Reese-Peters House that was built in 1835, the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio's mission is to foster knowledge and appreciation of the decorative arts; celebrate the architecture and heritage of the Reese-Peters House; and to enhance the vitality and integrity of historic Lancaster. The Center provides exhibitions, public programs, art classes and workshops for all ages, and is a focus of research and communication about the decorative arts of Ohio.
