Formerly the Grand Trunk, then Canadian National Station, with Great Northern, then Northern Pacific passenger terminal, the latter to the U.S.
There used to be as many as 14 trains a day in the heydays of the 1940s. Today, the Canadian (Vancouver-Toronto) operates twice per week, during summer a third train operates from Vancouver to Edmonton. Four Amtrak trains serve Pacific Central daily, two to Seattle and two to Portland. (This assumes schedules are not interrupted by pandemic.)
Rocky Mountain Railtours (the Rocky Mountaineer) used this station until recently when they built their own station a few blocks away.
