Calcasieu Lake is a brackish lake located mostly within Cameron Parish in southwest Louisiana. About 17 miles south of the city of Lake Charles, the lake is paralleled on its western shore by State Highway 27.

Known as "Big Lake" to the local population, Calcasieu is a popular destination for Gulf Coast anglers, with large amounts of red drum (redfish) and spotted sea trout (speckled trout), as well as flounder and brown and white shrimp.
