  • So the Navy is going to spend $600,000 to landscape and add shad structures to mask the "swastika." As if birds flying overhead are going to be offended. Give me a break. How's about using that money to pay off a little national debt?
  • Get your head out of your ass...this is not a wide-ranging conspiracy to make a dorm into a closet statement of defiance for a defeated Nazi building designer. By that logic every street on the island of manhattan forms a swastika. The borders of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona form a giant swastika. Lines of latitude and longitude form swastikas all over the world! The horror! Theyre everywhere! It looks like they are 4 buildings that are the exact same joined by a common area in the middle. Could it be that simple? Maybe, or maybe the guy who designed it saw it and said, 'ah well, who cares' knowing that from street level it doesnt look any different from regular buildings and that nobody would be able to see it from the air. Bottom line, theres more important stuff to get worked up about.
  • Oh, but I don't doubt the conspiriloons are UP IN ARMS declaring that there's something DEEPLY SIGNIFICANT about orienting a building so that it's easily accessible from all four sides. (See: Denver Airport.)
