Kanaura is a famous place as it have its own contribution in the freedom of India.There is also one Dalan,where people often use to stay(Travellers)in summer season.The boundaries villages are Morkha in South,Ammeliya in East,Kanjhit in North,and in West Paniher.Murkha and Paniher are also famous village and contributed in freedom of India.I belong from Kushaha(Kanaura),me Hemant Kumar Singh s/o Late Shri Ram Lochan Singh(Ex Army Officer).I would like to invite those who know more abt these villages.Currently there is a Godam (Fertilizers & Seeds)and a big shop of Hindustan Latex Limited(MNC)in Kushaha(Kanaura).Kushaha and Kanaura is also famous for the army personnel.I started my LKG education from Kanaura after that from sixth onwards I join in SGS Inter college Murkha Dobhi Jaunpur.Mr.Induprakash Singh Ji is the principal of the same.He is a good administrator,teacher.Through out of my career I didn't see another one like him.

  • The first arrival in the district of Jaunpur was of Raghuvanshi Kshattriyas. The king of Benares got his daughter married to the king of Ayodhya, Devakumar and gave away some part of his dominion as dowry in which the Raghuvanshis of Dobhi area settled themselves. The Raghuvanshi Rajputs of Dobhi along the Varanasi-Dobhi-Azamgarh highway had never acquiesed to anybody's suzerainity. During the advance towards Benares, they came face-to-face with the Sikh Army of Taylor. The Rajputs of Dobhi killed the Englishmen of the Peshwa's Indigo Godwn. In Senapur village at midnight the English hanged 23 people, while they were asleep, from tree. The English hanged Haripal Singh, Bhikha Singh and Jagat Singh et al. after a charade of a trial by a kangaroo court. Ram Sundar Pathak too was known for his velour amongst the freedom fighters. Before the arrival of Gandhiji in India, Pathakji was an associate of Gandhiji in South Africa in Gandhiji's non co-operation movement against the white people there.
