Mount Logan is the highest point in Canada, located within Kluane National Park and Reserve in southwestern Yukon, and the second-highest peak in North America behind Mount McKinley (Denali). It is believed to have the largest base circumference of any mountain on Earth, with the massif containing thirteen peaks, eleven of which are over 5,000 metres (16,400 ft). The tallest of these peaks is Main, at 5,959 m (19,551 ft). A temperature of −77.5 °C (−108 °F) was recorded in 1991, which may be the coldest temperature ever recorded in the northern hemisphere.

Due to active tectonic uplifting, Mount Logan is still rising in elevation.
