  • Originally constructed as one of two Ground-Air Transmit-Receiver ("GATR") stations, used by the AFS to communicate with aircraft, it was never employed as such, and quickly converted to the AFS Civil Engineering office. It is now owned by American Tower Corp & used as a land mobile radio repeater site, used by various federal agencies such as the USCG.
