Estate home designed c. 1927 in the Tudor/English Arts and Crafts style by William Harmon Beers of the firm of Beers & Farley on originally 94 acres of land for Franklin Butler Lord, II {attorney}. Lord served as a partner of the law firm of Lord, Day & Lord. He commissioned landscaping in 1929 by Ellen Biddle Shipman. The estate is now adaptively reused as the Christian Fellowship House.
