Former estate "Graenan" built for Michael Gavin {investment banker} c.1928 by John Russell Pope{Caumsett} in the French Manor style. Landscaping by Olmsted. Destroyed by fire during renovations in 1964. Had a chapel imported from France where Joan of Arc prayed prior to engaging the English. This chapel ,Chappelle de St. Martin, is now at Marquette U., Milwaukee.

The ruins are now owned by the Rojtman Family Trust.
