This building in the very center of Yambol was initially planned to become a town hall. Construction work was started in the late 1980's after tearing down a kindergarten and few private houses. Because of financial shortages the work has stopped in 1990. For almost 17 years this 10-story building was standing and uglifying the town scape. In 2007 it was bought by Sofia-based company and now it is a shopping and office centre. It is not actually a "MALL" because the commercial section is too small. Despite that the building is already known as THE MALL among the citizens.
