The Jack Brooks Regional Airport, formerly Southeast Texas Regional Airport, is a public airport located in Nederland, between Beaumont and Port Arthur in Texas. It was formerly known as the Jefferson County Airport, but its name was changed in an attempt to promote its use. The airport has 2 runways and is mostly used for general aviation, but is also served by one commercial airline.

  • This place is a complete joke. You're 100000% better off flying into Houston and renting a car to drive to Beaumont than trying to fly into this hole. Beaumont has no interest in becoming a real city and makes that clear with this joke of an airport. Flights once every 5 hours (to Houston only), no food at the airport, no TV in the airport lobby, no internet access at the airport, no taxi cabs available at the airport. Absolutely totally pitiful.
  • I just flew in and out of Beaumont this week and I have to agree that the terminal is old and lacking many amenities that we are used to. However there is a brand new terminal there (with jetways!) that has been closed due to damage from Hurricane Rita. I was told that the county is waiting for federal funds to repair the terminal and get it back online. The tower and the fire station are new as well. Once the terminal is repaired and re-opened it should be better.
  • Just another note. In this picture the new terminal is the one with a jet at the jetway. They are using the smaller and older one that is NW of it.
  • Or, as Ron White calls it, the "Beaumont Airport, Haircare, and Tire Center."
