Late Mr. G.T.Parande, one of the finest journalists of central India, worked with Hitavada for almost fifty years. He started his career in Hitavada as a sports reporter and rose to become it's Editor through his exceptional journalistic qualities and dedication to the profession. Even after his retirement, he continued his association with the newspaper as its Ombudsman and later its Editorial Advisor.
