Kosmaj

Kosmaj (626 m) is a mountain in Serbia, around Sopot. The Avala (506 m) is the lowest mountain in Šumadija. It can highlight the top three: small, naked, and shaggy. The main ridge Kosmaj polumesečastog shape and with the southwest-northeast direction. Probably the iron ore excavating the Kosmaj before the arrival of the Romans.

The whole landscape is under vegetation. Namely, the steeper sides are covered with forest (mainly beech and oak, and larch and places). Gentle slopes under grassy vegetation and the foot of orchards and fields, while mostly plateau with pastures.

The Kosmaj has a different game of importance for tourism, hunting (rabbits, deer, pheasants, partridges, quail and foxes, and once the wolves).
