Shishaldin, highest volcano in the Aleutian Islands , is among the 10 most active volcanos in the world. This symmetrical stratovolcano on Unimak Island rises about 2,857 meters (9,372 feet)above sea level. Last eruption 2004. A summit crater emits a nearly continuous plume of steam.
