The Energy Corridor is a district within the city of Houston, Texas that is loosely bounded by Interstate 10 (the Katy Freeway) to the north, Westheimer Road to the south, Kirkwood Street to the east and Fry Road to the west.
The district gets its name from the many energy industry-related companies with offices within its boundaries, ranging in size from large corporations (such as ExxonMobil and Bp) to one-man independent companies, in addition to numerous residential neighborhoods, restaurants, and retail businesses.
Over 26,000 acres of urban park area (the largest outside the National Park System) borders the Energy Corridor, including George Bush Park and Bear Creek Pioneers Park.
