Bass Lake

Bass Lake is a popular day hike about three miles fron the Palomarin trailhead. The clear waters are warm enough for swimming June through early September. The is no beach anywhere on the lake and there only one spot where a bather can get in or out of the water. Some visiters bring inflatable air mattresses so as to do their sunbathing out on the lake.
