beach, trail
We got trapped here on our way to Alamere Falls at high tide. It was hours before we could pass these rocks and even then, with our backpacking equipment, it was very difficult to run around the rocks before the waves would come crashing us up against the rock wall. If you come here, better you should STAY ON THE TRAIL several miles north (even though the beach looks like a perfectly safe route) or only attempt to go around the rocks at a very low tide. If you go to Alamere Falls this way, you will have to scale a steep cliff to get back on the trail or you may chose to go north a few miles and get on the trail where it leads up from the beach.
