Kenilworth Middle School, built in 1973, is in an upper middle class neighborhood. The sixty-two professional staff members have an average of fifteen years experience and more than 25 hold advanced degrees. Eighteen different nationalities are represented by the 850 culturally and economically diverse students.

In addition to traditional classes, the school provides special-needs programs for special education, over-age students, and English as a Second Language. Students may also choose to become a member of one of 28 clubs. Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips, Dominos, Matherne's, St. John United Methodist Church, and the Kenilworth Civic Association are active partners in education with the Kenilworth Middle staff and the Parent Faculty Association
