Adelphi Mill

USA / Maryland / Adelphi /
place with historical importance, interesting place

Built in 1796, the oldest and largest historic mill in the Washington, DC area. Can be rented out (I've been
to two weddings there- both have lasted!!)

This old grist mill built in the summer of 1796, probably by two brothers Issacher adn Mahlon Scofield. In 1811 the mill was also used for wool carding. The miller's cottage is of the same period.
