Built in 1914, the Holly Street Fire Station was the first in Nashville to house motorized fire vehicles. It is the oldest fire station in Nashville still used for its original purpose. In red brick, neoclassical style, it was designed by the city's first municipal architect, James Yeaman, and has recently been renovated.
