From the IU Indianapolis University Library:

The Jungclaus-Campbell Company is the oldest general contractor company in Indianapolis. Established in 1875 by William P. Jungclaus and John A. Schumacher, the company built many of Indianapolis's iconic buildings, including the Madam Walker Theatre, the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant (now Bottlework Hotel), the Murat Temple (now Old National Centre), Circle Tower, and the Indiana State Library.

In 2021, the property owner announced plans for the site's redevelopment, with Jungclaus-Campbell's headquarters remaining on-site. The Jungclaus Mill redevelopment project will preserve the early 20th-century brick and timber industrial buildings and repurpose space for commercial, office, and retail businesses.
