161-foot, 15-story Neo-Georgian cooperative-apartment building completed in 1940. Designed by Hyman Isaac Feldman, it is clad in red brick with a light-grey granite water table. The main entrance is centered on 37th Street, with slightly-recessed black wood-and-glass double-doors (with geometric iron patterns in the glass panes) framed by a stone molding with scrolled brackets and a cornice, covered by a rounded, green canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. On either side is a secondary entrance with a black wooden door set in thinner stone moldings.

Above the ground floor the middle section has three bays of single-windows, with an iron railing across the middle window at the 2nd floor, and a stone round-arch above it. Continuing to either side is a triple-window bay, a single-window bay, and a double-window bay, with black iron mullions at the multiple windows. The piers at the lower two floors are edged by rounded bricks, and there are panels of serrated brick at the top of the 2nd floor, just below the stone band course that caps the base. At the far west end of the ground floor there is also a small 1-story wall with a round-arched gate and a small window fronting the alleyway behind it.

The upper floors have vertical columns of protruding brick framing the end bays, with curved iron railings fronting the end-bay windows at the 3rd floor. The facade is dotted with protruding air-conditioning units. There is another band course across the 12th floor, where the outer bays set back, and there is another shallow setback above the 14th floor. The brick water tower enclosure tops the roof.

The east facade on the avenue has six bays of single-windows (three in the middle grouped closer together) and a north bay of triple-windows. The ornament is consistent with the south facade, and there are also setbacks at the top floors.

The building was converted to a co-op in 1983, with 94 apartments.
