Former Victoria Calan Iron works. They produced pig iron. The works had some small blast furnaces, semicoke plant and other related buildings. Currently production has been halted. The plant is beeing demolished but some workshops are still in operation. Unemployment has skyrocketed since the plants closure, former workers seeking employment in Hunedoara, Deva and other nearby cities and villages and abroad.
