5-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1886. It is clad in dark-red brick and brownstone. The ground floor has been modernized with a pair of metal-and-glass storefronts framing a residential entrance with a black metal door; an original, thin black cast-iron pilasters remains on the left side of the door.
The upper floors have four bays of single-windows. The 2nd floor has banded brick, and heavy brownstone lintels over the windows, with small egg-and-dart moldings, cornices, and brownstone bands joining each lintel. The 3rd floor is set off by a dentiled stone band course, and has narrower brownstone lintels with egg-and-dart moldings. Between the 3rd & 4th floors at the outer windows are brownstone panels with carved floral ornament, and just to the inside of each is an iron decoration attached to the facade. The 4th floor has heavy brownstone lintels with cornices and small female faces at the outer bays, as well as bands joining the lintels.
The 5th floor is set off by a stone string course with a leafy pattern, and the outer bays have brownstone lintels interacting with the prominent roof cornice, which also has scrolled brackets, a wide curved brick-and-stone arch with a keystone bearing a face across the two middle bays, modillions, two red terra-cotta ornamented panels in the middle, and a stepped-up center.
A black iron fire escape runs down the middle two bays of the facade. The ground floor is occupied by Papa Smoke Shop.
