5-story residential building completed in 1884. It is clad in dark-red-painted brick above a dark-red-painted stone ground floor and basement level. The basement is rough-faced, with paired window openings (now filled in) on either side of a small stoop. The rough-faced lintels are painted brown. The entrance, with a glass door, sidelight, and transom, is framed by brown-painted pilasters with brackets supporting a cornice that extends to both sides along the top of the ground floor. The entrance is flanked by narrow paired windows, with the facade banded to the outside edge of each window, and framed by paneled piers at the ends. There are decorative carved panels below each of the four windows.

The upper floors have four bays of windows with white-painted stone sills and eared lintels. There are carved panels between floors at the outer bays. The outer piers have recessed vertical panels at each floor, and the top two floors have two, narrower, projecting piers framing the middle bays, with decoratively carved bases and patterned squares near the top of both the 4th & 5th floors. A black metal fire escape runs down the middle of the facade, which is crowned by a black metal roof cornice with large and small brackets.
