This area was a former location for Chieftain Hotel/Chieftain Motel/Chieftain Hotel & Motel (was Wagner Chieftain Hotel in the early days) until around mid 1980's when it was torn down. It was located at the northern end, while the rest of this area was a parking lot. It became a miniature golf course Old River Mini Golf from the mid 1980's until its closure in Fall 2016 but continued operating to the public until Fall 2017. That was demolished around late-November 2021.

The current tourist attraction was constructed between late 2022 and May 2022, it is a go-kart track along with a miniature golf course. It was opened to the public on May 31, 2023 for the go-kart track portion, while the miniature golf course was opened in July 2023.
