Chelsea Savoy Hotel

6-story hotel completed in 1920. Designed by George F. Pelham, it is clad in orange brick divided into bays by vertical bands of grey stone on the lower two floors, and grey brick on the upper floors. The ground floor has glass-and-metal storefronts lining the avenue, where there are four bays. The 3-bay north facade on 23rd Street has the main entrance in the west bay, with steel-framed glass double-doors next to a plate-glass window. Metal louvers top each bay on the ground floor.

The upper floors have two double-windows in each bay, although the western set has been bricked-in at the east bay on the north facade. Each window has a grey brick lintel, and air-conditioning vents are cut below. The ground floor is occupied by a TD Bank branch.
