This is Arakalgud Doddakere, one of the oldest lake in the town(approimately 30acres)As per the history it is 800years old lake constructed by the nayaka's(samanta). But the sad thing is, Doddakere is no more due modernissation, there is no lake,a bus stand, stadium and Peoples Park is there, remaining 10 acres left for the lake.
