Towne Place Suites/Springhill Suites Chelsea

470-foot, 46-story modernist hotel completed in 2021. Designed by Gene Kaufman, the tower is clad in silver metal panels, set far back from the podium base that contains a double-height lobby. The tower has six bays of double-windows with uneven-spaced panes; the middle bays are grouped into two pairs, and the end bays set apart. They all have grey metal framing. A grey metal stripes runs across the facade spaced every three floors apart.

The side facades are plain pre-cast concrete panels, painted a warm beige up to the top few floors where they are dark-grey. The rear, south-facing facade is clad in the same way. The dark stripes from the front facade continue around the rest of the tower as painted bands. The building contains 531 guest rooms split between the two hotel flags.
