Factory of the Golden Fleece Manufacturing Group for the production of their neckties and alterations of RTW clothing under the direction of Mario Mannarino, master tailor. The company had continually produced ties within 10 miles of its flagship store in Manhattan for well more than 100 years. Its employees were represented by SIEU Workers United. The facility produced roughly 5,000 pieces or 1.5M ties per year at its peak.
It closed in March of 2020, laying off 136 employees. While ties are still American-made, it does not seem the facility reopened.
