Meadowlands New Jersey UPS hub, UPS's primary intermodal TOFC transfer facility for the tri-state region. Trailers are offloaded at the nearby CSX intermodal yard in North Bergen and driven here for further sorting and transfer to one of the numerous UPS sorting facilities in the region. One of UPS's busiest ground routes runs from here to the Chicago Area Consolidation Hub in Hodgkins, IL on a high-priority CSX train. Some trailers continue from there to UPS's primary west coast intermodal transfer hub in Vernon, CA on a high-priority BNSF train traveling along the historic AT&SF transcontinental route.
