  • A private zoo that can bee viewed from Park Ave. They have zebras, goats, wild asses, and eland antelope.
  • It's not really a zoo...it used to have a sign that read "Agri-Empire Animal Park" but it was removed in 2007 - some would call it the remnants of Jim Minor's personal collection of exotic animals. His wife, Jesse, continues to allow the animals to occupy the family property. Local residents enjoy seeing the Sheep, Goats, Zebras and the Eland. Past exotic pets include a Camel that passed away about 2004 and the 2nd Eland passed in 2011. Rumor has it that there are a few bobcats on the premises, but are unable to be viewed from the street and at one time - the family had a pet Giraffe and also a pet Cougar (Mountain Lion), but it was supposedly stolen from the property by an animal rights activist group. Other exotic pets have included: pot bellied pigs, peacocks, burros, big-horned sheep, horses, coyotes, Beastalos, outcast Minor relatives, red-tailed hawks, Macaws and other bird varieties. It's been reported that mythological Centaur have been seen from time to time and there have been sightings of the legendary Chupacabra. One hill top resident swears that she has seen an actual mountain lion drinking from her pool and very large cat tracks have been found, but this has not been verified as of yet.
  • Do you know if there's anything there still?
  • They still have zebras, it's a shame about peta, they should be imprisoned for stealing. But it was a really cool property to drive by. Hope they continue on that neat venture!
  • July 27, 2016 spotted large mountain lion behind my house on Agape Abe this morning. Called animal control and they have received numerous reports like mine for the past two weeks.
