Monument - ossuary of the officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers who died for the homeland during the wars of 1912-1913, 1915-1918.
The monument consists of a seven-meter high orthodox cross, and a memorial plate with bronze wreath under the cross. There are four memorial plaques on the monument with the names of the citizens of Varna, who has fallen in the Balkan War and the First World War. Above the plaques of the monument is placed a purple heart.
The monument was built in 1935 according to the project of Arch. Zhelyazko Bogdanov - a participant in the wars and passed into the stock with a rank second lieutenant. The remains of 423 officers, sergeants and soldiers, who have died in the wars, were buried in the ossuary. 240 of the names of the warriors were engraved on the façade plates on the floor, and the rest - on the northern and southern memorial plates.
The monument was built on the initiative of Colonel Petar Dimkov together with the Arch of the Monument of Eighth Infantry Sea Regiment.
