On June 1, 2011 in Pazardzhik was opened the bench, which is applying for the longest in the world. A team from the Guinness Book of Records arrived at the ceremony, but the facility was not officially recognized as the longest because of the tables between the parts.
The bench is 1011 meters long and can seat 2020 people at a time. Officially, the longest benches in the world are in Poland and Japan, respectively, 613 meters and 461 meters.
After the failure of Pazardzhik, now the longest bench in the world remains in Poland. It is 613 meters long, followed by the bench of Japan, which is 461 meters long.
