------------------
The Ritlite (Ridges) appear under № 2 in the State Register of Natural Landmarks with an order from 1938. Perpendicular to the river rise four walls parallel to each other, which in the western direction reach 200 meters. The locals have successfully likened them to car kicks. In places west of the river, the ridges of the huge stone walls show the remains of old fortress walls. To the north of them was located the village of Korintgrad, which the locals call Koritengrad. Between the two walls of the Ritles, the Romans built a military fortress. In the area of Koritengrad were found the remains of an early Christian three-nave basilica - V - VI century and several Bulgarian churches, the best preserved of which is "St. George" - X - XII century. At the end of the 19th century, the Austro-Hungarian traveler Felix Kanitz, who passed through the area, left wonderful descriptions and engravings.
