3-story commercial building originally completed around 1920, but remodeled several times since. It is now clad in white metal panels and glass at the ground floor, with concreted fronted by a screen of thin, horizontal and vertical steel bars. The ground floor on the east facade facing the avenue has a garage door at the south end, with a roll-down metal gate. To the north are five bays, each with a plate-glass window, except for the 2nd bay from the north, which has a recessed entrance with glass-and-metal double-doors and sidelights. There is a metal sign mounted above these bays. At the 3rd floor there is a band of glass covering the north two-thirds of the facade and extending all the way to the north edge, where it wraps around for a short return on the north facade, with a sign mounted here below it.

The ground floor on the north facade on 56th Street has a bay of three windows panes near the east end, next to which is another entrance, with glass-and-metal door, one wider than the other, below a glass pane. Near the middle is a white metal service door close to a high-set window, and at the west end is another garage door next to another service door. This west end section is shorter than the rest, and does not include the metal screen element above the ground floor. Instead, the upper floor has a band of five smaller window panes. To the east, the rest of the 2nd floor has four triple-windows, grouped in pairs near the ends, behind the metal screen.
