Uninhabited Island in Conception Bay. A great spot for camping, Kelly's Island is believed to have been a hideout for Pirates and their treasures in the 17th century. The island bares obvious evidence of the numerous excavations that have taken place over the past 300 years. Local folklore is particuarly vibrant on the subject. As of this writing, however, no one has ever reported actually finding any "treasure" on Kelly's Island. But, then, why would they?
