A pair of 5-story residential buildings originally completed together in the 1870s as 4-story buildings. They were both given a new top floor and No. 801 especially altered sometime after 1910. The ground floors both have a metal-and-glass storefront with glass double-doors, and entrances to the upper floors at the north ends.

The upper floors of No. 799 have three bays of single-windows in openings with curved tops, except for the 5th floor, which has a large studio window. The upper floors of No. 801 have studio windows on each floor. No. 799 has a black metal fire escape running down its northern two bays (with a landing at only the north bay on the top floor), and No. 801 has a fire escape with full-width landings (only at the south bay on the top floor). The ground floors are occupied by a gifts and luggage store, and Sixth Avenue Garden Gourmet Deli.
