Set of four brownstones originally built by S.M. Styles in 1876. One of which was altered by Grosvenor Atterbury in 1901 with a Georgian Revival exterior by Julian W. Robbins.
The complex was completely gutted and rebuilt after being used for offices of the Whitney Museum by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners.
