Part of the northern suburb of Amarna (ancient Akhetaten), containing both government and residential buildings. Sections to the south and west are effaced by later agriculture. The North Palace lies to the south, while the North Riverside Palace lies immediately to the west. The ruins date to the 14th century BC.
