Batu Lanchang is a neighbourhood within the City of George Town. Located within the Jelutong suburb, Batu Lanchang is located approximately 3.7km south of the city centre.

Formerly an agricultural area, Batu Lanchang experienced urbanisation beginning in the 1950s. The spillover of residential properties southward from the city centre led to the construction of various housing estates within Batu Lanchang. Green Lane, the major artery linking the city centre with the Gelugor suburb, also became a suburban area of choice for local homeowners.

The most popular landmark within Batu Lanchang is the Batu Lanchang Market, which contains a famous hawker centre that serves a variety of Penang dishes and desserts. Batu Lanchang is also home to the Lam Wah Ee Hospital, a private healthcare centre that offers traditional Chinese health care in addition to Western methods. Some of Penang's top schools, including Convent Green Lane & Heng Ee High School, are sited within this neighbourhood as well.
