1-story modernist subway station headhouse completed in 2010. Designed by Urbahn Architects, it consists of a stainless-steel and titanium domed structure in the shape of a cross, with broad arches along the east and west sides that have glass tops and curtain walls of glass-and-metal at the sides. The titanium dome in the center has north and south wings extending from it, also curved and clad in titanium, with grey marble walls, all sitting atop a dark-grey granite base. At the ends of these north and south wings are the subway entrances and exits, with steel-and-glass doors recessed below curved, fan-shaped glass canopies on metal frames.

At the north end, granite blocks and metal benches serve as a resting spot in the pedestrian plaza at 96th Street.
