138-foot, 12-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1915. Designed by George F. Pelham, it is clad in brown brick above a 2-story limestone base. The main entrance is centered on the north facade on 89th Street, with a deeply-recessed, round-arched portico up four steps; there is also a metal ramp from the left side. The entry is covered by a rounded, black metal canopy. To the left is a storefront with a glass door between two show-windows, and there is a black metal service door at the east end. To the right is a white metal service door and a single-window, with a restaurant storefront at the west end that has white-painted wooden French doors.
The upper floors have a center bay of tripartite windows, followed by a paired-window bay, a bay of small bathroom windows, and tripartite-window end bays on each side. The end bays have regular brick quoins and the tripartite windows have black iron mullions. At the 2nd floor there is a balustrade in front of the center bay, and the 2nd floor is capped by a band course with short balustrades at each bay. The end bays are segmental-arched at the 9th floor, with splayed brick lintels. The 10th floor is set off by two stone string courses, the upper one larger, and has outlined brick panels on the piers around the end bays. Double-height panels line the piers on the 11th-12th floors, and there are wide brick arches over the 12th-floor main bays. The facade is crowned by a corbelled brick cornice.
The ground floor along Broadway is lined with storefronts, and the upper floors have four outer bays of tripartite windows, with a single-window center bay flanked by two paired-window bays in the middle. The ornament and trim matches the north facade, with all four outer bays have brick quoins.
The building contains 44 apartment units. The ground floor is occupied by West Side Judaica book store, Dunkin' Donuts, Cibo E Vino restaurant, and A-One Cleaners.
