Ventos de Santo Onofre I Wind Farm is located in the state of Piauí, Brazil, about 13 km SSW of central Marcolândia and 11 km ENE of Simões. Commissioned in 2015, it consists of 15 Gamesa G97/2000 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 30 MW.
Santo Onofre I is part of the Chapada do Piauí Wind Farm Complex, which contains 14 wind farms: Santa Joana II, VI, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI and Santo Onofre I, II & III, for a total of 220 turbines and 415.1 MW.
