Corona is a densely-populated neighborhood in the former Township of Newtown in the northwestern part of the borough of Queens in New York City, New York. It is neighbored by Flushing to the east, Jackson Heights to the west, Forest Hills and Rego Park to the south, Elmhurst to the southwest, and East Elmhurst to the north.Its borders (moving in a clockwise direction) are formed by Northern Blvd. to the north, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park to the east, the Long Island Expressway to the south and Junction Blvd. to the west.

North of Roosevelt Avenue is the smaller sub-neighborhood of North Corona and Corona's other main thoroughfares include Corona Avenue, Northern Boulevard, Junction Boulevard, and 108th Street. The neighborhood is part of Queens Community Board 4, while the northern most part is included in Community Board 3. Corona's zip code is 11368.

  • Anything you might need to live in a place where you have everything near you. Multiple ways to get around Q23, Q58, Q48 to the LGA, mainly the #7 train, Highways are near, a lots of restaurants, barber shops, hair salons, laundry mats super markets and for sure you will find a bodega within every 3-4 blocks. Rent keeps going up and some jobs don't even pay minimum wage. You will definitely love the variety of dishes from Dominican food, Mexican, Colombian, Ecuadorian, Peruvian and many more. Best of all visit La Estrella Latina some real good Dominican food. If you just wondering around anytime after 7PM visit the “chimi spot” on 108TH with 42nd ave and have yourself a chimi of chicken. Also, one of the finest Italian Restaurant is located in Corona, 51st ave with 108th st in front of “Spaghetti Park” Most if not the best place to be on a Sunday afternoon is in the Shea Stadium Home of the METS! The people are nice, no one messes with you. I never got into trouble with anyone for the 12 years I lived there. Just make sure that if you have a civic or a teg and it looks nice and it runs, 3 words LOCK IT UP!.
