410-foot, 35-story postmodern hotel completed in 2019. Designed by Stonehill Taylor Architects with interior design by Yabu Pushelberg, it is clad in concrete, steel, and glass, with an industrial feel. The tower is set back atop a 4-story base with a soaring, greenhouse-style atrium. The east and west ends of the base as well as the tower are bare concrete with narrow window bays, and the middle section has an exposed steel framework surrounding multi-paned industrial-style windows.
At the base the end bays have 2-story vertical bands of windows above the ground floor, where there are service entrances with metal doors below transoms. The middle area of the base is organized into three large bays, with the hotel entrance in the west bay of the ground floor, and flower shop storefronts that open up to the sidewalk in the other two; all three are covered by suspended steel-and-glass canopies. Above the ground floor the middle section of the base, enclosing the atrium, has 4-over-3 windows at each floor, in each of the three bays.
The set-back tower's end bays are recessed farther than the middle section and have slightly recessed window openings, with windows further divided into smaller panes in a 3-over-4 pattern with the inner stack set apart by a wider mullion. The middle section has four bays in a 4-over-4 arrangement with the outer stacks separated by wider mullions, creating an overall tripartite effect.
The east and west side elevations are faced in concrete, with no windows; there are blind openings at the front and rear that are filled by a darker-colored grey concrete. The hotel contains 350 guest rooms.
