Eurus Wind Farm is located about 1-4 km SE, south, SW and west of the village of La Venta, which is about 26 km (16 miles) northeast of Juchitán de Zaragoza, in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Commissioned in 2009 & 2010, it consists of 165 Acciona AW-1500/70 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 247.5 MW.

Note 1: Although usually claimed ot consist of 167 turbines (for 250.5 MW capacity), in fact there are only 165 visible (on the images). Google Earth historical images do not show any obvious turbines that existed in the past but are now gone. (Perhaps they had problems during construction but never bothered to update their PR department?)

Note 2: This wind farm is also sometimes said to consist of two phases (25 turbines in 2009 and 142 in 2010), but it is not obvious (to me) that there is any 'cluster' of 25 turbines that would represent the earlier phase.
