On the right side Smolyantsi old road (now Street Seletska) in a small hamlet Selets was a small cemetery charitable institutions that emerged in the mid XIX century. At its base in 1890, he founded a new Smolyanske Orthodox cemetery. Here are buried many decent people of our city, including the family of Boris Tena. Originally Boris Ten Korbutivskyy was buried in the cemetery, not Smolyantsi where are mother, son, wife and brother Michael. Later moved ashes, where he commanded. According to archive data here in this cemetery, made ​​mass graves of victims of Holodomor of 1932-1933. In 2008 the cemetery installed a memorial plaque to the victims of the Holodomor. Old gravestones in the cemetery of XIX century almost did not survive.
